Shot Containment

Double insulated, steel-plated design to assure 100% shot containment.

Design Focused on Safety and Efficiency

Our design is driven by deep expertise in firearms coupled with commercial and Department of Defense (DoD) expertise and focused on providing the best solution. Our core design has been fully integrated into the modular 40’ container, which serves as our most basic system that will be 100% integrated into all MRT systems. This approach allows us to uniquely offer meaningful standards for reliability and maintainability (R&M), mean time between failure (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and a lean, optimized approach to manufacturing and support across the entire lifecycle of our ranges.

Commercial customers are assured that MRT products meet and exceed safety requirements because our design is driven to meet the most stringent FedGov requirements while fully implementing best commercial practices.

Government customers are assured that MRT has leveraged the best of commercial technology and responsibly designed to meet / exceed all FedGov criteria using a lean, optimized manufacturing process to assure lowest possible lifecycle cost.

Container modular firing ranges (CMFR) and mobile trailer firing ranges (MTFR) offer several benefits over traditional brick and mortar ranges in addition to rapid delivery and simple set up:

  • Moveable: CMFR and MTFR are easily moved to accommodate changes in venue / location and occupy much less physical space than comparable traditional ranges;
  • Scalable: CMFR and MTFR have two lanes making it simple to go from a very small operation, with the ability to add and integrate more lanes as needed based on demand;
  • Deployable: CMFR and MTFR can be easily deployed for training operations much more rapidly when considering brick and mortar or even outdoor options;
  • Environmental: CMFR and MTFR meet and exceed all federal standards for safety and health in key areas such as ventilation, noise, and operations safety;
  • Technology: CMFR and MTFR offers a 360 degree target retrieval systems and full spectrum firearms simulation ranging from judgmental training to entertainment;
  • Hearing Conservation: CMFR and MTFR are double-insulated and include sound reducing materials to reduce noise for the shooter and surrounding environment;
  • Recycling: CMFR and MTFR are 100% armored (floor, walls, ceiling) expressly to ensure no round escape the facility – our smooth floor design makes collecting spent brass a simple process and our innovative trap captures nearly 100% of the projectile matter making cleaning and collection fast, safe, and cost-effective.

Traditional gun store owners are unable to allow the customer to test fire a weapon because they don’t have a practical way to allow them to shoot and the CMFR allows any gun store to add the option in a footprint of 320 square feet (8’ x 40’) and allows an option to go from concept to reality in a very short period of time. For less expense than adding a brick and mortar range any gun storeowner has the option to inexpensively and quickly add a state-of-the-art range that will attract attention and solve the problem to allow customers to shoot a weapon before buying.
