The 40’ Groundhog is a compact, rifle-rated mobile shooting range engineered for agencies, training programs, and commercial operators who need professional capability in a smaller footprint. Built for durability, safety, and efficient operation, it delivers full-scale range performance without oversized infrastructure.

This range includes MRT’s newly designed premium shooting stall, incorporating ballistic glass, integrated LED lighting, and a wood-grain finish that elevates the overall aesthetic while maintaining the durability and safety required for professional range environments. This Premium Shooting Stall will be on display Jan 20-23, at Shot Show 2026, We are located at the Venetien, Booth 11885 next to the Beer Garden.

This system features two shooting lanes with a 7-yard range, protected by 360° SR500 tested ballistic steel (7.62×51mm 149-grain M80 FMJ tested) and MRT rubber wall treatment, creating a controlled, quieter, and more durable shooting environment.

The range is equipped with a new shooting stall and Caliber target retrieval system, providing smooth, reliable target operation with minimal maintenance while maintaining a clean, professional firing line.

Projectile management is handled by the MRT sloped granulated rubber bullet trap, designed to reduce wear, extend service intervals, and lower long-term operating costs compared to traditional steel traps.

Air quality is controlled by MRT’s industry-leading particle filtration system, delivering 99.99% efficiency at 0.3 microns with a fully enclosed design that protects shooters, staff, and equipment.
