The customer reached out because they needed a dedicated training solution that gave them full control over their schedule and environment. They had been relying on third-party ranges, which created ongoing costs and limited their ability to train consistently due to scheduling constraints. They were looking for a solution that would allow them to conduct training on their own time, improve efficiency, and eliminate the dependency on outside facilities. Safety was also a key priority, as they wanted a controlled environment that ensured consistent, reliable protection for both instructors and shooters.

We provided a 40' Groundhog, a static container-based, rifle-rated shooting range designed to deliver a safe, controlled, and turnkey training environment. This unit features full 360° SR500 ballistic steel protection, dual shooting lanes with a 7-yard Caliber hard rail target retrieval system, and two fully equipped shooting booths with integrated shelving and downrange LED lighting. The range is built for both performance and safety, incorporating an MRT sloped rubber berm bullet trap and an industry-leading particle filtration system with integrated heating and cooling, ensuring clean air and a comfortable training environment. Interior noise is managed with insulation and 2” sound foam, while the sealed rubber flooring and easy-to-clean surfaces simplify maintenance. Security and reliability are handled through a mechanical push-button locking system. The system operates on a single-phase 50 Amp 208/220 RV-style plug, avoiding the costly infrastructure required by 3-phase systems. The package also included consumables, and onsite training, providing a complete, ready-to-use solution from day one.
