The customer contacted us because they wanted a safe, private, and convenient way to train and shoot on their own property without relying on public ranges. They were looking for a controlled environment that allows consistent practice, improved skill development, and the flexibility to shoot on their own schedule. Key priorities included reliable bullet containment, reduced noise, clean air filtration, overall safety, and a setup that is easy to use and maintain. They also wanted a turnkey solution that could be installed quickly while avoiding the high cost, permitting challenges, and long construction timelines associated with building a traditional range.
We provided a turnkey solution with our 53’ Groundhog indoor shooting range, configured as a three-lane system to give the customer a fully self-contained, private shooting environment on their property. The range delivers a safe and controlled space for consistent training and recreational use, with integrated bullet containment, engineered noise reduction, and rubber wall treatment for enhanced ricochet protection and easier maintenance. Sound levels are reduced to approximately that of a household vacuum at 21 feet, creating a more comfortable shooting experience. The system is equipped with our Industry Leading particle filtration system, achieving 99.97% to 99.99% efficiency at 0.3 microns in a fully enclosed design, ensuring clean, breathable air during operation. This unit also included the Shoot House Simulator, giving the customer the ability to run more dynamic, scenario-based training in addition to standard lane shooting. Designed for simplicity and reliability, the Groundhog requires minimal maintenance and can be deployed quickly without the cost and delays of traditional construction. It operates on Single Phase 50 Amp 208/220 RV Style power, eliminating the need for expensive 3-phase infrastructure, and gives the customer complete control over when and how they train.
