The customer approached us looking for a dedicated range solution to support the testing and validation of high performance weapon systems. They needed an environment capable of handling intensive, repeatable use, including pushing firearms to failure as part of product development and quality assurance. Their focus was on achieving consistent, controlled conditions for accurate data and reliable results, along with dependable bullet containment. They also required strong sound control and clean air to ensure a safe, comfortable workspace for their team during extended testing operations.
We delivered a 40’ Groundhog indoor shooting range with a rear entry configuration, providing a fully contained and controlled environment tailored for high-performance firearm testing. This setup supports consistent, repeatable conditions for product development and validation, while ensuring dependable bullet containment and operator safety. The rear entry design keeps all access points within the unit’s footprint, improving workflow and maintaining a clean, organized layout for testing operations. The system also incorporates effective sound control and MRT Engineered Air Filtration to support a safe and comfortable environment during extended use. Built for durability and continuous operation, the Groundhog is designed to handle the demands of intensive testing cycles. It installs quickly without the need for traditional construction and operates on Single Phase 50 Amp 208/220 RV Style power, eliminating the added cost and complexity of 3-phase infrastructure.
